Taking care of an acutely concussed athlete is stressful everyone. Dr. Schlueter will provide a brief synopsis of when it is necessary to send an athlete to the ER and what an emergency department evaluation would entail.
Dr. Jamie Schlueter will discuss the emergency department work up for concussion, including the decision making process regarding when it is appropriate to obtain a CAT scan. She will also outline what the discharge plan and follow up would look like.
