Last week I introduced you to the V2FIT Certification Course and shared the Central-Peripheral Integration Video with you and the response has been overwhelming! We received many comments and thought provoking questions from readers who are eager to learn more.
So, we just released another video that discusses the core elements of a successful V2FIT concussion program as a case study. As you know one of the challenges of concussions is that there is currently no clearly defined threshold for diagnosis. So, what we must do is actually diagnose the impairment of the concussion.
Of equal if not more importance is understanding that even as we progress to reliable tools for diagnosing a concussion, it does not define an individual's recovery. Each person will present differently.
Not only will different individuals present uniquely but even the same individual who may have multiple concussions can present differently with each injury. Any severity of head trauma requires a neurological exam.
With that being said - I've got the first lesson in the V2FIT Launch Workshop. This workshop is free and you can access your first lesson at this link.

Go check it out right now - you're going to learn PLANNING for an appropriate examination of a patient case scenario, how to IDENTIFY and INTERPRET key findings to determine accurate diagnoses, patient specific goals, an appropriate INTERVENTION sequence for the case patient and EXPERIENCE a model of expert reasoning from evidence based medicine approach.
P.S. As a fun bonus, click here to download the Clinical Skills Preparedness Survey. This questionnaire addresses your confidence level in performing different skills associated the lessons learned in the V2FIT Certification Course. It is also used to determine if a live session is needed with a V2FIT Specialist to address any follow-up questions from the course.
